Enough is Enough Campaign - Thursday Events!


This is the last day that is left of the Enough is Enough Campaign.   Check it out what’s happening today…

Thursday:

8am -5:00pm: Brick Wall of Violence (North Atrium/PAC Lobby) -  Take a moment to tell your story of how you or someone you know has been effected by violence.

8am-5:00pm: Shoes of the Victims (Terrace) – Take time to reflect as you interact with this display of shoes with corresponding stories.

10:30am – 12:00pm: It Gets Better Project (Empire Room) – Discussion with videos and cameos about bullying

12:00pm – 1:00pm: ABW Shadows of Violence (DCC 4th floor lounge) – Visit life-sized cut outs of female figures with stories of how they were victims of domestic violence.

12:00pm-1:00pm: Try This On For Size (Brick Lounge) – See what emotions you experience by participating in this interactive display. 

11:30am-1:30pm: Comm-UNITY Beats of PEACE Celebration (Campus Center Atrium)– We are bringing people together around positive and upbeat music to foster a sense of peace and unity on campus.  Join us for cake and 50 Ways that MCC is a Safe Place!

1:30pm – 2:30pm: How to Be An Ally (Empire Room) – To have an open and safe environment for students to learn and grow, there must be educated allies.  This program will give the campus community the appropriate tools to become effective LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) allies.
