RE: Health/Dental Open Enrollment
The months of November/December are designated for open enrollment for both health and dental insurance coverages. Although employees have until the end of December to change and/or enroll in a plan, MCC health and dental providers have requested changes be submitted to the Human Resources Department by Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002. This request is to ensure coverage becomes effective Jan. 1, 2003.
Representatives from MCC's health insurance providers will be available on Monday, Nov. 11 to assist employees with information on MCC's health care plans at the following times and locations:
* 9:00 - 11:30 am Brighton Campus, 2nd Floor, Building 1, open area across from Admissions Office
* 2:30 - 4:00 pm Damon City Campus, Conference Room 5-001
Employees may stop by the Human Resources Department, at their convenience, for application forms, and/or brochures, or call extension 2048 to have information forwarded.

The employee contribution for health insurance is deducted on pre-taxed basis in accordance with the provisions of the Flexible Benefits Program.
