Denee J. Martin and Vicki Rocha Selected for Advisory Board


Denee J. Martin, admissions counselor & adjunct associate professor, and Vicki Rocha, academic advisor, have been selected to serve on the Rochester City School District Office of Adult & Career Education Services, Employment Services (OACES) Group Advisory Board.  OACES is an adult training and education center that offers a variety of programs and services.  OACES provides GED classes, transition services, family literacy programs and employment services among other opportunities for the Rochester area community.

Additionally, Admissions has implemented Pathways to Success: College Preparation Workshop Series at OACES. The workshop topics include ACCUPLACER, foreign transcripts and the admissions process, Career Coach, time management, financial aid, test anxiety, and more.  A variety of professional staff members from across the college have been involved with the continued success of the partnership.  These include Vicki Rocha, Anne Hughes, Pam Lazio, Lomax Campbell, Meryll Pentz, Don Beech, Ramon Rodriguez, and Ryan Messenger. Thank you to Denee Martin for coordinating these efforts.
