Appreciation from the Rochester Regional Veterans Business Council


MCC was presented with an a plaque of appreciation by  the Rochester Regional Veterans Business Council (RRVBC) for supporting veteran students and business owners in the Greater Rochester area.

MCC partners with the RRVBC by sponsoring the RRVBC annual expo, through scholarships from the MCC Foundation to support veterans attending mcc, and through support from EDIWS and the Academy for Veterans’ Success.

The award is a plaque that reads: “Presented to Monroe Community College. In grateful appreciation from the Rochester Regional Veteran Business Council for your support as 2013 Education Champion Sponsor at the Rochester Business Expo, Matchmaker and Award Luncheon. Thank you for your Support to Veterans.”

MCC was presented with the 2013 Veterans Education Champion Award by the Rochester Regional Veterans Business Council at the Veterans Champion Awards Luncheon held on October 30, 2013

The Rochester Regional Veterans Business Council provides veteran business owners and operators a forum to:

·         Make the veteran business community an economic force in employment and business development.
·         Provide support to veteran owned businesses.
·         Provide a forum for networking and education.
·         Support the reintegration of veterans into the workforce.
·         Support the activities of veteran service organizations in the Rochester region.
