Eat Well Live Well Challenge Coming to MCC!

Thanks to a partnership between Health Services, Human Resources and the Health and Physical Education Department, the Eat Well Live Well Challenge will be offered to MCC employees this semester beginning in March!

Developed by Wegmans, the Eat Well Live Well Challenge is an eight-week competition where individuals report the number of steps they take (using a pedometer) and cups of fruit and vegetables they eat each week. Our goal is to have 15 to 20 MCC teams (10 employees per team) compete this spring. Pedometer and information materials will be free to registered participants

Information sessions will be hosted in February throughout MCC. Stay tuned to the MCC Daily Tribune for meeting times and locations. If you are already familiar with the program and would like to be a team captain, please contact Craig Rand, chair, Health and Physical Education (<<mailto:crand@monroecc.edu>>).

There are some great reasons to take the challenge:

·         It's a great way to have some fun!

·         You may find that you have more energy!

·         It could help improve your overall health!

·         If you're eating better, maybe your family will too!

·         This could be the beginning of something wonderful and long-lasting!
