Apply for Student Government Officer Positions for 2017 - 2018

Attention Brighton Campus Students

Are you looking for a high level leadership opportunity?

Do you want to make a significant impact on the MCC community?

Are you looking for an experience to take with you after MCC?

The Student Government Association at the Brighton Campus is looking for students interested in applying for the following positions for the 2017 - 2018 academic year: SGA President, Vice President of Programming, Secretary of Governance, Treasurer, and five Student Senator positions.

Requirements:

Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at the Brighton Campus for the fall semester and maintain this status throughout the term of office; the majority of enrolled credit hours must be taken at Brighton;

Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.25.

Must be available Tuesdays from 2:15 PM - 5:00 PM for weekly Senate Meetings and Fridays from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM for weekly pre-agenda meetings.

Must be available to attend 3 meetings and additional training sessions in the summer of 2017.

Must intend to serve for the entire term of office (Commencement Day 2017 - Commencement Day 2018).

Must not be on academic or disciplinary probation.

A committee of your peers will review applications and conduct interviews and successful candidates will be appointed at the conclusion of this process.
