Transfer Application Process

Now is the time to apply if you are graduating and plan to start at your next college in the Fall!

There are three steps to applying:

1. Complete the application 

For SUNY: use the SUNY application: https://www.suny.edu/applysuny/

  • If graduating - make sure you indicate that you will graduate from MCC when asked on the application.
  • Instead of paying the fee, click the “Qualified Transfer Student Fee Waiver” button under the payment option.
  • You can apply to up to 7 SUNY colleges for free.

For Private or Out of State: use the transfer application on their website or the Common Application.

2. Request that ALL of your transcripts be sent to the 4-year colleges you are applying to. 

3. Apply for Financial Aid.
