Welcome New Faculty and Staff


Last spring, the Integrating New Faculty and Staff ad hoc committee of the Faculty Senate recommended that new employees be introduced via the MCC Daily Tribune, as well as at All College Day. By including the names and biographies of these new MCC family members in the Tribune, we can all become better acquainted.

Since there are many new employees, we will share them with you 10 at a time each Friday.

Donna Augustine is the program director for STEP.  Donna earned a M.S. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute of Technology and a B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  She previously worked as the associate director of STEP at LeMoyne College, taught at Virginia Tech and was an educational counselor at MIT.

Ann Barker  is the child care manager at MCC’s Child Care Center.  Anne was the education/disability services manager at ABC Head Start.  She earned both her M.S. and B.S. in Early Childhood Education from SUNY Fredonia along with her New York state permanent teacher certification.

Gerald Brinkman is a lecturer in the Hospitality Department.  Gerald earned a B.S. from SUNY Geneseo and has taught as an adjunct for the department during the past year.  He comes to MCC from John Marshall High School where he worked for six years as an instructor for classes in Food Service I and II.

Donna Burley is a senior account clerk typist in Accounting. Donna holds a master’s degree in education from Nazareth, a bachelor’s degree from Brockport and an associate’s degree from MCC. She was previously employed by the NYS Department of Transportation.

Nicholas Busch is an instructor in the ESOL/ Foreign Languages Department.  Nicholas earned a M.A. degree from Middlebury College and a B.A. from Amherst College.  He has taught previously at Onondaga Community College and Dartmouth College.

Russell Coriddi is the program coordinator/lecturer for the Recruit Training Program at the Public Safety Training Facility.  Russell earned his B.S. from Roberts Wesleyan and is a certified NYS police instructor.  He is a 30 year veteran of the Rochester Police Department retiring with the rank of commander and is recognized as a leader within the law enforcement community who has spearheaded many new initiatives in patrol, supervision and training.

Ken Davis (KC) is a light laborer for Building Services.  His previous employer was Wolcott-Park, a distributor of industrial adhesives.

David Diana is the assistant director in the Counseling and Advising Center.  He received his M.A. in clinical psychology from the University of Dayton and a B.A. in psychology from St. John Fisher College.  He comes to MCC from Hobart and William Smith Colleges where he had been working for seven years as the director of the Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention and Counseling Program.  David is a Michigan limited licensed psychologist, a credentialed New York alcoholism and substance abuse counselor and a licensed New York Mental Health Counselor. 

Jackie DiMarco joined the Human Resources Department in October of last year as a clerk 3 with typing.  She was previously employed by Eastman Kodak Company as a customer service trainer.  Jackie has completed coursework toward her B.A. degree.

David Donnelly is an assistant professor in the Psychology Department.  David earned his Ph.D. from the University of Rochester Warner School, and a M.A and B.A. from SUNY Geneseo.  He has been an adjunct at MCC and SUNY Geneseo since 1992.  David also worked as an applied behavior analyst for Orleans County Arc Inc.
