Passing of Gerald Fingar, Father of Melissa Fingar

It is with sadness that I share news of the passing of Gerald Fingar, father of Melissa Fingar, Assistant to the President for Human Resources. Mr. Fingar was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy who served in the Korean War as a communications officer on the Battleship Missouri. A celebration of his life will take place on September 23, 2018, 4 pm, at Midtown Athletic Club, 200 East Highland Drive, Brighton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Honor Flight of Rochester, Hildebrandt Hospice, or the Monroe Community College Foundation. Condolences to the family may be sent via White Oak Cremation.
