MCC Engineering Design Teams placed 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 7th at the 2007 SUNY Two-Year Engineering Science Association (TYESA) Design Competition held at Broome Community College on Friday, April 27th.
A total of 14 teams from 5 SUNY Community Colleges competed. MCC was the defending champion and has won the competition three of the past four years. Students on this year's first place team were Tony Perrone, Christine Pascino, Shawn Herrman, and Josh Locke. MCC's second place team included Bill Spath, Chirs Mieney, Ryan Clarke, Jon Gunn, and Peter Nice.
The MCC design teams will compete at the American Society for Engineering Education National Design Competition in June.
