Last Chance to Add Your Name to the Annual Fund Honor Roll of Donors

When you support the Annual Fund for Monroe Community College, you create life-changing opportunities and help build strong foundations for MCC students.  Students like Kristofer (Kris) Hendrickson ’22, a sustainability studies program graduate who received scholarship support, are successful thanks to faculty and staff donors like you.

For some that have gone through challenges like Kris, it would be easy to give up. He’s dealt with alcohol addiction, marital separation and job insecurity. Despite these challenges, Kris’ determination for creating a better and healthier life is his main focus.

In June 2020, Kris enrolled in MCC.  An involved student leader, Kris balanced his studies with cocurricular activities all while maintaining at 4.0 average. Kris graduated this past May and will attend Cornell University. Kris is thankful for the difference MCC donors made in his life and had this to say, “For the first time in my life, I am able to focus solely on my education, and I am beyond grateful to receive scholarship support that helps tremendously in lessening my financial burden.”

Your gift is greatly appreciated and will provide scholarships and grants to students like Kris and hundreds of others. If you have not made an annual gift, we can still add your name to our 2021-2022 Annual Fund Honor Roll of Donors if we receive your gift or pledge by the end of August.  Thanks to a challenge match by the Konar Foundation, you can double your impact with a new or increased unrestricted annual fund gift.  Please click here to make a gift online, pledge your support or set up payroll deductionThank you for your generosity.
