The MCC Diversity Quilt is showcased this week by Joyce Medwin. The table is located in front of the Admissions Office in the Spina Administration Building.
For those of you who are not familiar with this project, the quilt idea was conceived by the Diversity Committee – Direction Five (D5)-Enhancing our Physical Environment.
The diversity quilt has been in the planning and preparation stages since June 2010. Our group is hoping to present the finished quilt to Dr. Kress on Employees Recognition Day.
The theme of the quilt is “diversity.” The committee took that idea and combined a variety of suggestions into the quilt. Please visit the showcase table this week for more information.
