On March 11, 2005 the Brighton Campus Activities Board will be sponsoring a "Vegas Night" Charity Event. The event will be held on the Brighton campus in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center (Monroe A & B) from 7:00-11:00pm. There will be casino games, music, refreshments and a prize auction at the end of the night. All proceeds will be donated to the women's shelter, Alternatives for Battered Women.
The Brighton Campus Activities Board is challenging the college community -- in the weeks leading up to this event -- to help raise even more money! We are challenging each department to purchase houses (a symbol representing the women’s shelter) for $1.00 each. The houses will then be on display next to the Campus Center Office (3-126) with the name of your department on it.
The department that sells the most houses by Friday, March 4, 2005 will WIN 10 FREE TICKETS to the Vegas Night Charity Event!
Each department will be receiving a packet with instructions and 25 houses to start with through interoffice mail to distribute within the department. For more information or if you need more houses, contact the Campus Center Office at 292-2534.
Remember, the deadline to sell the most houses is Friday, March 4, 2005!
