MCC Honored in Trinidad and Tobago

On Tuesday October 27, the College of Science, Technology and the Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago (COSTAATT) celebrated its 15th anniversary.  Monroe Community College was recognized for its enduring partnership to support the development of this national community college.

President Gillian Paul made special mention of MCC’s support in academic arenas such as curriculum development, library services, online learning, and governance.  She also expressed appreciation to MCC for helping COSTAATT create a technology environment that advanced management information systems, cyber networks, registration and accounting systems, and online learning.  Other agencies also recognized were the National Institute for Higher Education, Research Science and Technology (NIHERST), the United States Embassy, and Queensborough Community College (CUNY).

MCC has been with this national reform effort from the beginning and continues its third decade of partnership.  Attending the reception on behalf of MCC were Emeritus Vice President, Dr. Jeffrey Bartkovich and Mrs. Bartkovich.
