Monroe Community College will host the Region III-Division II men's basketball tournament this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in the MCC gym. The Tribunes are the top seed thanks to a 13-1 conference record and 24-4 mark overall.
Action will kick off Friday night with a doubleheader. The first game will feature Alfred State and Jamestown CC at 6 p.m., followed by Genesee CC and Erie CC at 8 p.m.
The MCC men will hit the floor Saturday at 1 p.m. against the Erie/Genesee winner. Second-seeded Mercyhurst North East will play the winner of Jamestown/Alfred at 3 p.m.
The championship will be 1 p.m. Sunday. Tickets to the games will be available for $5 and a tournament pass (good for the whole weekend) is $10.
