Governor David A. Paterson will hold a town hall meeting at SUNY Geneseo, Thursday, March 12, 11 a.m. in Wadsworth Auditorium. Faculty, staff and students at area colleges are invited.
Governor Paterson will begin the meeting with remarks about the student loan program that he introduced in his Executive Budget proposal (https://www.ny.gov/governor/press/press_1216085.html). Following his remarks, the Governor will answer questions on any topic, including but not limited to, higher education. Questions must be submitted in advance through this web site: https://www.ny.gov/governor/townhalls/register.php. Geneseo Student Association President Danielle Forrest will collect the questions from the site and select several. Those who submitted the selected questions will have the opportunity to ask their questions during the meeting.
