Career Fair Etiquette
Employers love to hire MCC students and want to engage with them at the Career and Transfer Center’s Job Fairs. However, the feedback we have received from past employers is that many students are not prepared (with a résumé in hand, dressed appropriately, not eating lunch, etc.) to interact with company representatives. We have offered workshops and individual appointments focused on preparing for career fairs, though students often don’t attend. We would like to enlist your help. Please remind your students attending the Career and Transfer Center’s Part-Time Job Fair on October 7 to come prepared with a résumé and dressed appropriately. Thank you.
