Who will represent MCC at the SUNY TYESA Competition?


Find out on Monday, April 23 as the winning team is determined at the Two Year Engineering Science Association of New York State (TYESA) qualifier from noon to 1 pm (College Hour) in the Flynn Campus Center Atrium. Student teams will compete to represent MCC at the SUNY TYESA Competition in Binghamton on April 27th, and at the ASEE Competition in Honolulu on June 24th. 

In preparation for the qualifier, MCC student competitors are designing and building autonomous robots capable of making 6 “baskets” in opposite cups located 12’ apart. This intercollegiate design team qualifier is sponsored by the Engineering Leadership Council. 

TYESA is an organization comprised of members from institutions of higher education in New York state that grant an associate in science degree in Engineering Science and adhere to TYESA's curriculum guidelines. Liaison membership is available to institutions and agencies interested in participating in TYESA meetings and other events. 

MCC’s John Wadach serves as the organization’s current president.
