Date change: Dr. Kress/TCC “Conversation”

President Kress will lead conversations for the Teaching & Creativity Center twice on the Brighton campus: from 3:30 to 4:20 p.m. on Oct. 12 in the Empire Room, and from noon to 12:50 p.m. on Oct. 18 in the Forum. (A previously announced time for one of the conversations  – on Oct. 7 – has been canceled because of a scheduling conflict.)

The conversations will focus on Chapter One of Daniel T. Willingham’s Why Don’t Students Like School? A Cognitive Scientist Answers Questions about How the Mind Works and What It Means for Your Classroom.

President Kress also will lead off this year’s conversations on this book at the Damon City campus on Oct. 4 from noon to 12:50 in the Community Room, Rm. 4-193.
