Planning for Adult Success

There will be a meeting at the Damon City Campus on October 16 in Room 5-264 (within the Student Services Center) at 12 noon.  The trends in colleges throughout the country show that adult students will soon constitute a significant proportion of the undergraduate population.

Members of the Adult Advisory Committee will discuss the adult learner movement and elicit ideas from those in attendance as to what it will take to deliver programs and services to those re-entry adults.  More and more colleges, including MCC, are looking to the adult learner for enrollment growth – while simultaneously experiencing lower enrollment of traditional students.

This same topic will be discussed again on the Brighton Campus from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on November 1, in the Teacher and Creativity Center, Room 12-201.
