We are pleased to inform you that the Monroe Community College 27th Annual Awards Banquet will be held on Friday, May 15, 2009 at the Rochester Plaza Hotel & Conference Center, Seventy State Street, Rochester, New York. The purpose of the banquet is to showcase the varied academic and co-curricular accomplishments of our students. Because this is a college-wide event, we annually seek to increase participation. Thus, if your department annually bestows academic awards on deserving students, we invite your participation in this banquet.
Attached are two forms we would like you to complete for any Fall/Spring semester students you would like to recognize at the banquet in May. As soon as you identify your award recipients, please work with the students to fill out the biographical information for the printed program. Our goal is to see that each student’s information is complete for this keepsake.
Please complete all of the necessary information and send it to Betty Stewart, Director, Campus Center. If your department does not present any awards, please return the Award Winner’s List form indicating “NONE” (please use the attachments).
