This is a reminder to all voting members of the Faculty Senate:
The Nominations, Elections and Governance Committee (NEG) of the Faculty Senate is seeking the nominations of candidates for the offices of President, Vice-President and Secretary. The term of office for each position is two years, beginning September 1st, 2011 and ending August 31st, 2013. A description of the duties of each office can be found in Article V of the Faculty Senate Bylaws (MCC’s homepage, A to Z index, F for Faculty Senate)
Self-nominations are accepted. Prior to nominating a colleague, please obtain his or her permission and willingness to serve. Nominations should be forwarded via email to Alice Wilson, Chair, NEG Committee, by 5:00 PM, on Friday, March 18th.
