<p>Baxter is the Monroe County sheriff, a post he has held since January 2018. During his 30-year career in law enforcement, Baxter served with the Rochester and Greece police departments prior to this leadership at the county level. A U.S. Army veteran, Baxter earned a master's degree in strategic leadership and a bachelor's degree in organizational management from Roberts Wesleyan College, and an associate degree in criminal justice from MCC. A member of the MCC Alumni Hall of Fame, Baxter has received numerous awards recognizing his service to our community and country.</p>
<p>Feane is a principal at Armbruster Capital Management, where he is responsible for new business development and client service. He is a CFA(r) charterholder and throughout his career has held roles in portfolio strategy, consultant relations and institutional foreign exchange sales. Feane is on the board of directors and a member of the investment committee for the YMCA of Greater Rochester and on the board of directors as head of the finance committee for the Statesman Athletic Association of Hobart College. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Hobart College in 2006.</p>
<p>Holliday is the former president and publisher of the Rochester Business Journal. She serves on the boards of the University of Rochester Medical Center, Financial Institutions, Inc., Complemar Partners, Inc., Healthcare Trustees of New York State, and the American Hospital Association. She earned a master's degree in business administration from Rochester Institute of Technology and a bachelor of science degree from Cornell University. Holliday's work and volunteerism has been recognized by educational, charitable and community institutions throughout the region.</p>
<p>Aaron Newman is the founder of BlocWatch, along with the co-founder and former executive chairman of CloudCheckr, Inc, a comprehensive cloud management solution. Newman previously founded and sold three other successful start-up companies: Techrigy, DbSecure, and Application Security, Inc. He authored the books "Enterprise 2.0" (McGraw-Hill), and the "Oracle Security Handbook" (Oracle Press). He is an acclaimed international speaker on technology topics and has been awarded multiple patents in database security and social media. Prior to launching his previous start-up companies, Newman held technology positions at Price Waterhouse and Bankers Trust, and also served as an independent IT consultant. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the first Gulf War. He graduated from the State University of New York at Binghamton with a business administration degree. Newman also serves on the board for The Strong Museum, and as president for the Rochester Rock Ice Snow Climbing Club. He is also the founder of scale(585), a grassroots organization spearheaded by local entrepreneurs dedicated to showcasing the vibrant potential found in the Rochester, N.Y. region.</p>
<p>Reingold is vice-president and general manager of WHEC-TV, Rochester's NBC-TV affiliate, owned by Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc. During his distinguished career in broadcast journalism and television, Reingold helped lead NBC and CBS affiliates in North Carolina and Washington, D.C. He founded Black Heritage Network and co-founded Four Points Media Group. Reingold earned a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University, a master's degree in management from Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree from Union College.</p>
<p>Von Bacho is the senior director of learning and development for the University of Rochester Medical Center's clinical enterprise, UR Medicine. Her more than 20-year career at URMC includes leadership roles that combine her expertise as a nurse, administrator and educator. She has led hospital-wide initiatives to enhance patient and staff satisfaction as well as professional development and excellence. Von Bacho is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau, American Nurses Association, and American Association of Nurse Executives. She served on the boards of the Boy Scouts of America, Seneca Waterways Council Alumni Association and the Finger Lakes Regional Burn Association. Her academic credentials include a master of science degree in nursing administration and a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Rochester, and an associate in applied science degree in nursing from MCC.</p>

Business, Community Leaders Join MCC Foundation Board of Directors

This month, Todd Baxter '10, Colby Feane, Susan Holliday, Aaron Newman, Richard Reingold and Stephanie Von Bacho '88, MSN, RN were appointed to the Monroe Community College Foundation Board of Directors. As directors, they will help lead the Foundation's efforts to advance academic achievement, innovation and excellence at MCC.
