· Most students making less than $19,000/year qualify for Medicaid and can enroll in this insurance at any time during the year. Other individuals may qualify for a low cost plan.
· Best of all, there is free, on-campus assistance to determine eligibility, and to enroll in the plan of choice.
· For those on the DCC Campus, please contact Ambika Howell, Program Coordinator for the Pathways to Success program, for a monthly schedule of insurance representatives.
· All students are welcome to visit Health Services, regardless of whether or not they have health insurance. There is no cost to the student beyond the $5 student health fee on the college bill each semester. Please call 292-2018 to schedule an appointment- same day appointments are usually available.
