You may have noticed the recent changes on the Libraries’ database page. Some old, familiar favorites, such as InfoTrac OneFile, Expanded Academic Index, InvesText and the AccuNet/AP Multimedia Archive, will no longer be offered through the MCC Libraries. But don’t despair! The Libraries will now be offering several new databases for your use, creating an even stronger collection. The new databases are:
Academic Search Premier (general, multidisciplinary)
MasterFile Premier (general, multidisciplinary)
CINAHL Plus with Full Text (the nursing and allied health standard, now with full text!)
Pre-CINAHL (access to new articles in the field pre-indexing in CINAHL Plus)
Professional Development Collection (professional education, research and librarianship)
Education Research Complete (all aspects of educational research)
Military and Government Collection (current news on all branches of the military)
Business Source Premier (business)
Regional Business News (regional business publications)
