What You Don't Know About Epilepsy Can Hurt Me

On Monday, April 21, 2008, the Peer Mentors invite the college community to their presentation entitled, “What You Don’t Know About Epilepsy Can Hurt Me.”  This presentation will be held at noon in the Forum (3-130).

Guest speaker will be Michael Radell, Community Educator, of the Epilepsy Foundation.  Mr. Radell will discuss different types of seizures, what to do when you see someone having a seizure and the proper way to help them. He will dispel many misconceptions that are associated with Epilepsy. There will be a question and answer period at the end of the presentation.

Come raise your awareness and understanding of what Epilepsy is, because the more you know, the more you can help.

For further information, please contact the Peer Assistance Resource Center at 292-2552.
