Rochester AmeriCorps Serves on 'Make A Difference' Day

On Oct 27, 2007 Rochester AmeriCorps members dedicated almost 100 hours of service in the community on this national day of service. Members painted flats to be used at the Search Institutes' Healthy Youth conference starting Nov 8th. The conference focuses on youth development through asset building. Members also completed two city garden projects, planting over 4 dozen perennials, mulching, and removing debris from the Charles Carroll Park downtown and Norton Village Recreation on Waring Rd.
