TaylorMade and adidas Indulge Golfers with Tee-Gift Choices at Scholarship Open

TaylorMade and adidas have partnered with the Monroe Community College Foundation to ensure golfers playing in the 22nd annual Scholarship Open “get fit like the pros” while raising scholarships for MCC students. This year’s tournament will be held on Monday, July 10, at Monroe Golf Club.

“We wanted to create an experience that made players feel appreciated for their generosity towards MCC students,” said Dan Burns, regional president, M&T, who chairs this year’s tournament with Al Casey, president, M/E Engineering, PC. “Players will be able to choose from a variety of different packages from adidas and TaylorMade, including shoes, apparel and equipment. Having the TaylorMade Performance Van and their team of technicians on site that day also presents the opportunity to select a custom-made golf club as our thanks for supporting public higher education in Rochester,” said Burns. Both Burns and Casey serve as directors on the MCC Foundation Board.

The Scholarship Open attracts community and business leaders each year and is one of the leading fundraisers for the MCC Foundation. Student scholarships are established and awarded directly from tournament proceeds.

Foursomes and underwriting opportunities are still available. The cost to play is $500 per person; $2,000 per foursome. For reservations and information, please contact the MCC Foundation at 585.262.1500.
