Today is the Last Day for Thanksgiving Food Drive


If you forgot to bring food, you can still donate a check or cash for the Wilson Commencement Park Thanksgiving Food drive. This is a project of the American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) Service Committee, in collaboration with Damon City Campus’ Human Services Club.

We are especially looking for donations of stuffing, corn meal, instant potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, canned vegetables and macaroni which will be delivered in laundry baskets that have been donated. Financial donations and gift cards from local grocery stores are also welcome. Please make your check payable to Wilson Commencement Park and bring it to Melissa Santiago in the Financial Aid Office (Room 6-207 - Brighton Campus) or to one of the following locations where there is a person present to accept it:

Brighton Campus Food Drop Locations:
  *  1st floor of Building 5, next to the elevator (no checks/cash)
  *  Campus Events, 3-111
  *  Chemistry & Geosciences, 8-210
  *  Counseling and Advising, 1-231
  *  Health & PE, 10-110 (Karla Baxter’s Ofc.)

DCC Drop-Off Locations:
  *  Faculty Lounge, 4-4216 (no checks/cash)
  *  Student Services Center Lobby, 5-5252

Applied Technologies Center Drop-Off Location:
  *  Faculty Lounge, Room 157

Public Safety Drop-Off Location:
  *  1190 Scottsville Road (See Marjorie Scahill)
