Community Fridays for a Cause

“Community Fridays for a Cause” debuts this Friday, September 30, 2011.  This is the first of six Fridays during the academic year that have been designated as part of the “Community Fridays for a Cause” program.  This program has been established to increase our college-community connections by raising awareness of charitable organizations and the important work they do.

In celebration of Alumni Week and Homecoming 2011, the Monroe Community College Foundation was chosen to be the recipient of donations from the first Community Fridays for a Cause.

Nearly 65 percent of MCC’s students depend on financial aid in the form of scholarships, grants or loans.  The Monroe Community College Foundation helps to make it possible for the College to fulfill its promise to educate our community’s future business leaders, health care workers, teachers, engineers, scientists and first responders.  We hope you will be generous in your donation in support of the Monroe Community College Foundation and its promise to make a difference in the lives of those pursuing an education at Monroe Community College.

Donations will be collected in each department.  All checks should be made out to the Monroe Community College Foundation.  Envelopes have been sent to each department for the collection of your donations.  Please bring the donation envelopes to Jodee Biller in the Controller’s Office by 4:00 pm on Friday.

Dress is business casual and be sure to wear school colors!

Thank you in advance for your support!
