Brighton Campus TCC: Fall Conversation this Monday, Sept. 18

Fake news is not new; fabricated stories have been presented as truth for centuries. However the proliferation and impact of fake news and false information became a topic of wide public concern in the past year.

The TCC committee invites you to join colleagues at our first Fall 2017 conversation, Separating Fact from Fiction: How to Deal with Fake News/False Information. Together, we will explore the recent focus on the phenomenon of fake news, the impact fake news may have on teaching and learning, and how we can help students learn to identify and avoid questionable sources.

This is the first of three conversations taking place this fall dealing with the Teaching & Creativity Center's theme for 2017-18: Navigating Changing Environments.
