YNN Rochester and The Daily Record reported on the college's commitment to ensure that every MCC student has an education and a role in democracy.
Two events were held Monday, Nov. 5, as part of Democracy Commitment Day.
At DCC, a panel of judicial members and a county official spoke about jury recruitment and diversity. At Brighton, judicial members, public servants and the Student Government Association president urged students to be informed, engaged citizens in their communities by voting, serving on juries and participating in other civic responsibilities.
