Yesterday, a former student visiting campus (on leave from the Marines) found a wallet in the MarketPlace food court and promptly turned it into Joyce Medwin at the Information Desk. A check of the contents found $48 in cash, drivers license, social security card, class schedule, etc.
Shortly afterwards an extremely upset student approached the desk and was greatly relieved to find that his wallet had been turned in with everything intact.
Honest students, faculty and staff like this former student are common at MCC and stories such as these can make us all feel proud to be part of this special campus community.
