On Saturday, November 20th, members of the Science & Technology Entry Program (STEP) FIRST LEGO League (FLL) team competed in the first round of the Finger Lakes FLL tournament at Edison High School.
Team Bio Bots, which is made up of seventh and eighth grade youth, won an invitation to the championship round along with a trophy for their outstanding research on our ability to grow organs for transplant. The Bio Bots also gave a technical presentation on the robot that they designed and competed with their robot in three thrilling rounds.
