The MCC team of spellers, Julie Damerell from Transitional Studies and Yulanda McKinney and Liz Pierce from the English/Philosophy Department, placed third in the Writers & Books annual spelling bee fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 2, at Frontier Field. MCC's team, called "Ms. Spellers," competed with 11 other area colleges and businesses.
