The "What Happened to the Class of 2021?" Report is Now Available

The “What Happened to the Class of 2021?” brochure is now available electronically at https://www.monroecc.edu/depts/research/what-happened-to-the-class-of/. No hard copies will be printed. Faculty and staff who need specific data on graduates’ outcomes can request them from IR.

Some of the highlights from the report include:

  • 1,069 (57 percent) of the graduates had been in transfer (A.A. and A.S. degree) programs. 
  • 517 (28 percent) of the graduates had been in career (A.A.S. degree) programs.
  • 214 (13 percent) of the graduates had been in certificate programs.
  • We have outcome data on 36 percent of the graduates.  It came from the Graduate Follow-Up Survey, National Student Clearinghouse, and various MCC departments.  The results show that… 
    • 32 percent of graduates are either employed or continuing their education.
    • Graduates were hired by 199 different employers.
    • Graduates transferred to 62 different colleges and universities.
    • Of the career and certificate program graduates who secured full-time employment, 90 percent are in jobs related to their major and 87 percent are employed locally.
    • SUNY Brockport continues to be the #1 receiving campus, with 63 of our graduates transferring there.  RIT was second with 23.
