TCC: Two Weeks Until the 2021 Teaching & Learning Conference

Now that grades are in and there's a little room to breathe, don't forget to register for this year's Teaching & Learning Conference, which will take place remotely on Friday, June 4, 2021.

This year's conference, based on the TCC's theme of Committing to Equity-Minded Pedagogy, is a combination of morning presentations and afternoon workshops, peppered with lots of short breaks. It's intended as a day to hear from colleagues about their work, and to provide you with some frameworks for looking at your own work (and the work you do with students) through an equity lens.

Here's the line-up:

Registration is required for each session you plan to attend. Come to all or some--we have aimed for flexible this year.

In addition to the synchronous sessions, there will be on-demand, asynchronous items on our Blackboard portal for you to read, watch, and engage with. [The items are not visible yet, but they will be on June 4.]

Please register for your sessions by June 2. If you are requesting ASL interpreters, we ask for a 10-day advance notice (which is today, May 21).

You will receive confirmation emails for each registration, and those emails contain your own special Zoom links. So that you are not hunting around for them all on the morning of June 4, use the handy "Save to calendar" tool that is in the emails. Because the emails are technically coming from the Zoom portal, you may discover them in your Junk folder, and they will be labeled as external.
