New Teaching Materials in Library

The LeRoy V. Good Library has recently acquired several new titles dealing with the subject of teaching. All of the titles were referenced in the Chronicle of Higher Education. Two copies of each of the following are now on reserve at the Circulation/Reserve Desk:

The following will be added to the reserve shelves when it arrives within the next couple weeks:

Graff, Gerald.  Clueless in Academe: How Schooling Obscures the Life of the Mind.  New Haven: Yale University Press, 2003

In addition to the many pedagogy materials in the general collection, the LeRoy V. Good Library is also the home of the Teaching and Creativity Center (TCC), a valuable source of educational materials for faculty and staff. The TCC has a small collection of books now, and there are plans to expand its holdings in the future. The TCC will be developing some programming activities during the 2005 – 2006 school year based upon the above new texts.

Please visit the library to check out the above books and browse the collection housed in the Teaching and Creativity Center (2-315). You can also find additional educational materials by searching our online catalog ( "https://www.monroecc.edu/go/library" www.monroecc.edu/go/library).
