Initial response to the “MCC Diversity Quilt” concept has been inspiring. There’s still time for you to join in and “share a common thread” to celebrate diversity and inclusion at Monroe Community College!
The Diversity Council Direction 5 Committee (Enhancing our Physical Environment) will host a kick-off meeting for the MCC Diversity Quilt project on Thursday, June 10 from 2 to 4 pm, in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center (Monroe B).
Quilting skills are not a requirement, only a plus! In addition to quilters, we will need folks to lead, guide, support and creatively piece together the quilt.
