The public is invited to participate in a meeting at Monroe Community College to help guide the future of local agriculture. MCC’s Agriculture and Life Sciences Institute (ALSI) will host Planning for the Future of Agriculture by Monroe County Towns on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in MCC’s R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center (Monroe A/B), 1000 East Henrietta Road. The event will feature presentations and a discussion of agriculture and farmland protection funding opportunities.
ALSI Senior Specialist Bob King, Ph.D., and farmland protection experts from the New York State Department of Agriculture & Markets will be among the speakers.
