All College Days’ MCC Schools Panel

All College Days is one week away. In addition to our traditional welcome to new employees, our program on September 1 will include an MCC Schools Panel. The panel discussion will address the “whys” and “hows” of the Schools model, the different faculty and administrative roles, and how components fit together to provide clear academic and career pathways for students. Panelists include:

*  Randy Bowen, associate vice president, Enrollment Management
*  Renee Dimino, interim dean, Division of Academic Foundations
* Marisol Galarza-Ruiz, faculty liaison, School of Arts & Humanities and assistant professor of Spanish, World Languages and Cultures
*  Dr. Kim McKinsey-Mabry, dean, Schools of Business, Hospitality & Entrepreneurism, and Community Engagement & Development
*  Vicki Pankratz, school specialist, School of Arts & Humanities
*  John Striebich, chair, Business Administration & Economics
*  Jessica Wilkie, Schools implementation lead

This discussion will help us ensure a smooth start to MCC Schools this fall. If you have a question you’d like the panel to address, please submit it to: <mailto:marcom@monroecc.edu>  by August 30. We’ll get to as many as we can at All College Days, and address others via the MCC Daily Tribune in the coming week.

I look forward to welcoming everyone back next week. Remember to wear black and gold, and that the program will be held in the Stabins Physical Education Complex gymnasium due to theatre renovations.
