Dual Enrollment Program Welcomes District Partners to Campus

The Dual Enrollment Program hosted four breakfast meetings on campus to connect with the superintendents and principals of our partner districts.  Meetings were held on January 8 and 9 for superintendents, and January 15 and 16 for high school principals.  The meetings were well attended with representatives from 20 of our Dual Enrollment partner school and BOCES locations.

The goals of the breakfast meetings were to:

·         Highlight the Dual Enrollment partnership,

·         Share information on future directions of Dual Enrollment,

·         Seek support for the upcoming symposium “College Readiness: Bridging the Transition” scheduled for May 31, 2013, and

·         Obtain feedback and insights on possible program improvements.

Many thanks to the Provost's office, Admissions, CCTE, and CTE for their support.  And to Kate Smith, Interim Dean Interdisciplinary Programs, for helping to make these meetings a success.
