Housing Process for 2007-2008


APPLICATION PROCESS FOR HOUSING IN THE

ALICE HOLLOWAY YOUNG COMMONS

 

We are excited to announce Canal Hall as a new addition to the Alice Holloway Young Commons at Monroe Community College! The new residence halls will add 366 additional beds to our current 406 and will be available for occupancy beginning in Fall 2007.  

 

Applicants for 2007-2008

 

January 2, 2007 applicants can begin expressing interest through the Housing Interest Form located at HYPERLINK "https://www.monroecc.edu/depts/reshalls"www.monroecc.edu/depts/reshalls.

February 1, 2007 is the recommended date that new students apply for Admission to Monroe Community College to ensure access to the housing application.

March 1, 2007 the Housing Application will be available online beginning at 8 a.m. located at HYPERLINK "https://www.monroecc.edu/depts/reshalls"www.monroecc.edu/depts/reshalls.

A $200 housing application deposit is required. Payment can be made through the PayPal link available through the Housing and Residence Life web pages or mailed to:

Please make checks payable to the MCC Association, Inc. Include the student name and ID on all submitted payments.

 

Student applications will not be processed until payment has been received.  Deferrals are not available. The application fee will become a security deposit if you receive a bed in the Alice Holloway Young Commons. A written request for the refund of the application fee can be made if a student does not receive a bed in the residence halls.

Housing Costs for 2007-2008

Single Room:

$2935.00 per semester or $5870.00 for the academic year

Double Room:

$2645.00 per semester or $5290.00 for the academic year

*Costs do not include the Intersession or Summer session. 

 

Beds will be offered for the Alice Holloway Young Commons based on the date and time you submit your Web Application with complete information and payment.
