Passing of Gary Reilich, Applied Technologies

I am sad to inform the College community that Gary Reilich, adjunct faculty member in the Applied Technologies Department, passed away on November 23, 2018.

Gary began working at MCC in 1996 as an adjunct instructor in the tooling and machining program. Before his career in higher education, he worked as a journeyman tool and die maker as well as an apprenticeship program trainer for a local company.

During his MCC career over the past 22 years, students greatly benefited from his industry knowledge and experience and the strong partnerships he built with the local manufacturing community.

Gary is survived by his wife of 31 years, Lorraine; sons, Gary and Grant; sister, Christine (Richard) Burke; brother, William (Amy); and nieces and nephews. At his request, services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association.
