Just a reminder that this Saturday power will be turned off in Buildings 4 and 5 from 2:00 p.m. until approximately 8:00 p.m. while a temporary generator is installed to power the building for the week. The process will be reversed the following Saturday to remove the generator and energize the new electrical equipment being installed. This will mean both buildings will be completely dark for 6 hours and no one will be allowed in them. Please plan accordingly.
Also, there will be a planned power outage in the newly renovated parts of Building 9 on February 23rd. The western half of the building will be turned off from 6:00 am until 2:30 pm while electricians clean the new electrical gear recently installed. Power will still be on in the eastern half of the building.
Please – turn off as much equipment that is not running as possible (HEATERS, coffee pots, refrigerators, computers, etc…). It will be better for the equipment as we switch power sources back and forth, and it will help us use less diesel fuel to power the buildings while we work. We don’t want to pollute any more than we have to. Please conserve.
