To kick start our Alumni Week and Homecoming 2012 celebration, golfers and non-golfers alike are encouraged to join the Foundation and Professor Joseph T. Marchese for the Homecoming Alumni Classic Golf Tournament and Dinner to be held on a perfect fall day… Saturday, September 22!
This September marks Joe’s 45th year as an instructor at Monroe Community College. This special dinner and golf tournament will provide an opportunity to celebrate Joe’s commitment to teaching excellence by raising funds to support the Faculty Grant Program.
Tickets for both golf and the dinner include a $30 tax deductible gift. Dinner-only tickets are $40. Golf and dinner tickets are $100 and include a light lunch and cart. Those unable to participate can make an honorary gift of $30 by clicking here.
We hope you will be part of this exciting event on Saturday, September 22, at Mill Creek Golf Club, 128 Cedars Avenue in Churchville—at 1 p.m. for tee-off (scramble format) and at 6:00 p.m. for dinner. The Foundation’s goal in raising funds to support faculty is to nurture collegial relationships and support student success. Through its Faculty Grant Program, the Foundation encourages new and innovative ideas while funding a variety of projects to promote equity and creativity within the grant process. In 2012-2013, the Foundation granted $27,369 through five grant awards.
