Know Someone Who's Interested in a Customer Service Career?

Someone who likes to help people solve problems?
Who wants to work in a field that pays well and offers rapid advancement?

He or she might belong in a call center.

Customer service call centers are the heart of every major business and there’s a huge demand for trained professionals to staff them. MCC’s new Certificate in Call Center (Customer Service) Operations gives them the right skills to succeed in the fast-growing world of call centers.

In just one year, students will…

* Learn how to service customers and help companies maintain a positive image with the public
* Get real-world experience in MCC's state-of-the-art training lab, located at the Damon City Campus
* Be fully prepared to move into team leadership, supervisory, or quality assurance positions in a call center

Plus, students can earn $8.00 an hour while they learn with a paid internship at Excellus BCBS, the area's largest health insurance company. (Limited number of internships available. Enroll early for best placement.)

Companies all over Rochester are hiring Call Center representatives now.  According to Tom Gilbert, chair of MCC's Office & Computer Programs Department, "there are more jobs for call center employees than there are people to fill them."

To learn more, Call 292-2217 or dial Extension 2217 from within MCC. Or click "Call Center Certificate" in the A-Z index on the MCC web site.

Classes start January 26.
