Monroe Community College expressed its gratitude to Honorary Trustee Wayne K. Gilman yesterday, June 13, by officially renaming the South Lounge in the Flynn Campus Center to the Gilman Lounge.
In the presence of Gilman’s family, friends and fellow board members, MCC Board of Trustees Chair Lori VanDusen and President Flynn reflected upon Gilman’s dedication and volunteer service as a trustee and MCC Foundation director over the past 25 years.
President Flynn described Gilman as an example of someone from “the outside” who contributes greatly to the success of the college and its foundation.
