Eric Wheeler Honored with NASPA's Veteran Ally and Advocate Award

Assistant Director of Veterans Services Eric Wheeler was awarded NASPA's Veteran Ally and Advocate Award at the 2020 Symposium on Military-Connected Students.

Eric and Veterans Specialist Lori Bartkovich have assisted and advised at 900 appointments with veterans since the start of the academic year. The Veteran Services staff and their colleagues at Career Services offer a friendly and welcoming environment for veterans as well as all students. Their hands-on efforts to establish positive and supportive relationships with students contribute to higher levels of retention and graduation rates.
