One With The Power of Many

This year the United Way of Greater Rochester is focusing it efforts to address six (6) issues our community has designated as our most challenging:

·         Help Prevent Violence

·         Foster Success in School

·         Shelter the Homeless

·         Help People with Disabilities

·         Prevent Child Abuse

·         Keep Seniors Independent

With our support, the United Way is able to approach each issue from a prevention as well as intervention model—funding programs that assist those currently affected as well as those that attack root causes—and will spare others future suffering.

With our support, the United Way is able to provide solutions that go beyond a band-aid and offer people the opportunity to rebuild and change their lives. The effectiveness of every program funded by our support of the United Way is measurable

There’s no one solution. Nor a single answer. We just have to act as one.
